Every plan has two components: a platform fee that covers your deployment and a per member per month (PMPM) fee based on your organization type. Schools and non-profits pay $3–5 PMPM. Health systems and enterprise deployments pay $6–8 PMPM. No usage charges, no feature unlocks, no per-session fees. Enterprise pricing is scoped to your deployment.

Medicaid billing can
recover up to
50% of cost.

For Title I school districts with high Medicaid-eligible student populations, school-based Medicaid billing for qualifying Vasl services can recover approximately half the total contract cost. At Pro plan scale with 500 students, the net district cost after billing recovery is approximately $19,200/year — around $38 per student per year. Vasl provides all billing documentation; your finance team submits the claims.

actually get.

What counts as a "member"?

A member is any individual enrolled in your Vasl deployment — a student, a health plan member, or a community org participant who has created an account and accepted terms. Unused capacity doesn't roll over. If you consistently run under or over your plan capacity, we'll work with you on the right sizing before your next renewal.

Is implementation support really included, or is it a separate cost?

Included — no separate implementation fee. Your dedicated implementation lead is included in the contract for the duration of the first year. Staff orientation sessions, first billing cycle support (Pro and Enterprise), compliance documentation, and launch support are all included. The only thing not included is work that falls genuinely outside the scope of a normal deployment — like a multi-site healthcare system integration or custom EHR build, which we'd scope separately.

Can we start with Starter and upgrade to Pro?

Yes. We pro-rate the upgrade and your implementation lead stays consistent across the transition. Most organizations that upgrade do so after their first Medicaid billing cycle demonstrates the ROI at Pro scale. We'll flag when your member utilization suggests you'd benefit from Pro features — we don't wait until you're over capacity to have that conversation.

Do you offer non-profit pricing?

The Starter plan at $480/month is designed specifically for non-profit program budgets — up to 100 members, full platform access, implementation support included. For non-profits with more than 100 members and grant funding that covers Pro, we work on a case-by-case basis. Contact us and tell us about your program — we've found ways to make the math work for mission-aligned organizations more often than the standard pricing suggests.

What does "billed annually" mean — can we pay monthly?

Standard contracts are billed annually. Monthly billing is available for organizations with budget cycle constraints that make annual payment impractical — contact us. Monthly billing is at a 10% premium over the annual rate. For non-profits with quarterly grant disbursements, we've structured payment schedules that align with funding cycles.

What's in the Enterprise pricing conversation?

Enterprise pricing is scoped based on member capacity, organizational complexity, and the specific features your deployment requires. We start with a scoping conversation — not a pricing deck — and build a proposal based on what you actually need.
